Obit: Mary Francis Richardson

     Mrs Mary Frances (Cirafice) Richardson, 79, died Monday in Salem Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Elwood C "Rich" Richardson, with who she had shared 51 years of marriage.
     Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mahoney) Cirafice. She was raised in Nahant and lived there for 74 years. She was a 1937 graduate of Lynn Classical High and was a graduate of Burdett College.
     Mrs Richardson worked as a real estate broker.
     She was active in the St Thomas Aquinas Church Ladies Sodality, the Girls Scouts and the Infant of Prague Guild of Greater Lynn.
     In addition to her husband, Mrs Richardson leaves two sons, Michael Richardson of Califon, NJ, and Brian Richardson of Huntington Beach, Calif; a daughter Valerie Richardon-Moineau of Swampscott; a sister Helen Wright of Center Ossipee, NH; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
     She was also the mother of the late Maureen Richardson.
     The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Solimine, Landergan and Rhodes Funeral Homes, followed at 9:30 by a funeral Mass in St Thomas the Aquinas Church in Nahant. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant.

Obit: Breina L Promisel

     Ms Breina L (Mednick) Promisel, 55, died Wednesday at Salem Hospital.
     Born in Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of Abe and Hilda Mednick of Boynton Beach, Fla. She had lived in Marblehead and Salem for the past 25 years. She was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and earned a Master's Degree from George Washington University.
     For the past 20 years, Mrs Promisel had owned and operated Designs by Breina, a residential and commercial interior design firm she rain from her home.
     She was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, the Hadassah and the Sisterhood of the Temple Israel of Swampscott. A devoted fan of the arts, she enjoyed music and museums.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs Promisel leaves two sons, Robert S and Alan H Promisel, both of New York City.
     Funeral services will be held Friday at 10am at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapels, 10 Vinnin St, Salem.
     Burial will follow at Temple Israel of Swampscott Cemetery, Peabody

     Mrs Anita V Dunn, 81, died Wednesday at the Blaire House Nursing Home in Tewksbury. She was the wife of the late Daniel F Dunn.
     Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Philip J, and Annie E (Belanger) LeBel. She had lived in Salem and Lynn, and then moved to Peabody where she resided for 50 years. She was a graduate of Salem High School and Salem Commercial College.
     Mrs Dunn had worked for General Electric in West Lynn. 
     She was a former member of St Ann's Church in Peabody and was also a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader.
     Mrs Dunn leavers her son, Daniel F Dunn Jr of Burlington; three daughters, Maureen E Ruggiero of Billerica, Diane V Doyle of Reading and Carole A Ware of Acton; and two grandchildren.
     She was the sister of the late Lois LeBel.
     The funeral will be held Friday at 8am from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica, followed by a funeral Mass in St Thomas's Church, Billerica.
     Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

     Mrs Margaret M. Mageary, 81, of Wyman Street, Lynn, died Wednesday in a local nursy home after a length illness. She was the wife of Roy A Mageary, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
     Born and educated in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Sarah (Fraser) Gallant. She was a lifelong Lynn resident. Mrs Mageary was a communicant of St Pius V Church and was also a former member of the Eagles.
     In addition to her husband, Mrs Mageary leaves three faughters, Judith Blaney-Killoran and Carol F Dow, both of Lynn, and Mary N Nelson of Peabody; a step-son, Edward "Skip" Mageary of Lynn; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren a great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews, including Marie Babineau of Lynn.
     She was the stepmother of the late Roy A Mageary Jr and Dorothy Colarusso.
     The funeral will be held Saturday at 8am from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St, Lynn, followed at 9 by a funeral Mass in St Pius V Church. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

I will add more to this post, from other blurbs on the page, but I had this transcribed for someone already, so i'm posting it now.

Daily Evening Item (Lynn) - August 8, 1930 Garden Club Outing Mrs Carolus M Cobb will be hostess at her Lynnfield home on Thursday, Aug 14, to members of the Greater Lynn Garden club, at their all day outing. Plans for the day's program include an illustrated lecture "Throughout the Year with [this word looks like Bulbs, but i'm not positive, its hard to read the image]" and Mrs Alfred Comstock will read a paper on herbs in the garden. Members will take box lunches.
