Timothy Crowley - Deaths

I'm still trying to locate more information on my Timothy Crowley, b c 1822, Ireland, that married a Mary abt the same time, also Ireland. With such common names, it's not been easy. I know they were in Manchester, NH abt 1851, where son Dennis was born, then Worcester for the 1860 census. They had 4 known children, Dennis, Mary (born Springfield, according to Worcester records), Johanna (not found a birth for yet), and Catherine (born Worcester). I estimate Timothy died 1860-1870, as I could not place him on any census after 1860, though found a widowed Mary with a Kate, that fits, in Worcester in 1880.

Here are some death records from that period.

Aug 1 1862 Fitchburg - Timothy Crowley, male, married, 40, Killed by jumping from a RR car, Sterling res Fitchburg, laborer, Ireland, Jeremiah Crowley, Mary Crowley, Ireland, Ireland

Jan 14 1879 Worcester - Timothy Crowley, male, __, 60, pneumonia, __, laborer, __, __, __, Ireland

it would be nice if it was the first, seeing as how the parents are listed, but i cannot be sure of either, i'm afraid. this is terribly frustrating

Welcome!

I don't update my age-old website anymore ( http://branches.fieryangel.net/leaves ), so I decided to start this new blog.

Here I will share records that I find, like Obits, books I discover, photos i take, random blurbs about what's on my mind, etc. It will likely be quite random, but maybe the records I post may be helpful to someone who happens by. :)

I compiled so many records, that it will take quite some time to post them all. Be sure to check back

.Site description (as submitted to Cindy's List):

Most obits and records will be from eastern Massachusetts, but NH, Maine, TN, KS, NE, England & others may also appear. The surnames BLAISDELL & TREADWELL will frequently appear in the records added, along with many Nahant (MA) based families. Information will be eclectic.
