Kathleen Emerson of Arlington, at 88, Somerville native
Kathleen H (Brown) Emerson of Arlington, formerly of Somerville, a retired administrative assistant, died Sunday in Weymouth after a brief illness. She was 88.
Born and raised in Somerville, Ms Emerson resided in Arlington.
She retired as an administrative assistant for Littman Stethoscopes in Boston.
Ms Emerson is survived by her brother Arthur Brown of California; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held at 12:15pm Thursday at Christ Episcopal Church, Somerville.
Burial will be private.

If this is the Kathleen Emerson who attended Christ Church, On Fellsway, Somerville, she was one of the nicest women I've ever know. I moved away and lost touch, therefore the belated condolences. But know that I admired her greatly and often think of her.
